Of course, I was giddy with anticipation when I found out AMC is doing an adaptation of Robert Kirkman's masterpiece. According to dread central, "I don't think there's a single other project we're looking forward to more around the Dread Central offices than Frank Darabont's adaptation of the Robert Kirkman zombie epic The Walking Dead. Casting news has been brilliant, the effects that we've seen so far have been top shelf, and everything seems to be coming together nicely." I'm thrilled. In order to prepare for this epic event, I suggest you read all of Robert Kirkman's comics as soon as possible. They are definitely worth it!

ReplyDelete28 days later was a pretty good show. I love all zombie movies so I can't wait to watch this one. The most recent movie I seen was "the Crazies" and thought it was fabulous.

How come there are no zombies in twilight? Don't women find zombies attractive?
Neat! I had never heard of this. Actually, I think I heard something about the project but not about that it was based on a comic. Neat info!
ReplyDeleteI loved the series and would love even more to read the actual thing. Thanks for writing about it.
ReplyDeleteRecently, my friend and I have published an 80,000 word choose your own adventure zombie survival book that we hope you can review on this site.
This book is packed with adventure and survival, letting the reader make the decisions that test his or her zombie apocalypse survival knowledge. The book has been out since Jan. 8th, and despite limited released has already seen some positive reviews on Amazon.
The plot centers around a necromancer who controls a vast horde, a necromancer who wants to turn the entire world into zombies. As the reader, you make the decisions that will either lead to your death, lead to a confrontation with the necromancer, or you lead to your flight from him.
We would love to have our book reviewed on your site, and would be happy to supply you with a free e-copy. I hope that you are interested, and I can be contacted at kylewest@ou.edu, or contacted through the book's blog, nightofthenecromancer.blogspot.com.
Thank you for giving this comment your time and thought.
